Unfortunately, it won’t work for Total Words or Total Progress in the Outliner. Doc notes are exclusive to the selected/viewed document, and can be output in Compile by putting a checkbox in the Notes column for the text document level(s). There’s a post on references here: – do as above, but add an internal link to the file in the Document Notes or within the text (add link by going to Edit>Scrivener Link>choose file), rather than a reference.– choose to keep your notes in the Document Notes section in the Inspector.
